Rain on Sunday is a limited edition hand painted illustration, printed on 300gsm Hahnemüle fine art paper using archival quality inks.
This work was inspired by rainy New Zealand days and the suspension of time in waiting. It holds the childhood memory of both wanting to be free to roam outside in solitude, as well as the comfort of being at home together. Rain on Sunday is a reminder of the potentialities both within and without, and how sometimes we may sit in that in between, neither outside nor inside, watching the rain fall.
